Aesthefill
AestheFill is REGEN Biotech's poly-D,L-lactic acid collagen stimulator, and it belongs to a category patients rarely understand until it is explained to them: it does not fill, it rebuilds. There is no volume on the day of treatment. What the PDLLA microspheres do is provoke a controlled tissue response as they slowly hydrolyse, and the volume that appears over the following months is the patient's own collagen.
That is a harder sell in the chair than a syringe of hyaluronic acid, and it is also why the result reads differently. A face treated with a collagen stimulator does not look filled, because nothing was added - the dermis is simply thicker than it was. For patients with thin, dry skin and generalised laxity rather than one hollow area, that distinction is the whole point.
REGEN Biotech chose the D,L form of polylactic acid rather than the crystalline L-form used in older stimulators. It reconstitutes faster, needs less water, and disperses more evenly - unglamorous handling advantages that matter a great deal to whoever is preparing the vial.
Why practitioners choose AestheFill
Volume that builds rather than appears
Collagen accumulates gradually over the weeks following treatment, and the result typically continues improving before it plateaus. Most practitioners describe the effect as holding for around eighteen months to two years after a completed course.
Suited to thin, dry, crepey skin
This is the patient group where hyaluronic acid struggles - not one deflated area, but skin that has lost thickness across the cheeks, the jawline and the perioral region. Thickening the dermis addresses that in a way volumising a single site cannot.
PDLLA rather than PLLA
The amorphous D,L form reconstitutes more readily and disperses more evenly in suspension than the crystalline L-form. In day-to-day use that means less preparation time and a more predictable spread.
Fully biodegradable
PDLLA breaks down to lactic acid and clears through normal metabolic pathways. Nothing implanted remains; what persists is the collagen the body built in response.
What it is used for
The usual applications are age-related volume loss and skin laxity - cheeks, temples, jawline and nasolabial folds - and the fine surface wrinkling that comes with dermal thinning around the eyes and mouth.
It is generally chosen for patients whose complaint is diffuse rather than localised. A single deep fold is filler work; skin that has thinned across a region is what a stimulator is for. Which indications are approved depends on the market you practise in, and treatment should sit inside your own scope of practice and clinical judgement.
Composition
Poly-D,L-lactic acid microspheres, supplied as a lyophilised powder and reconstituted before use. The particles are larger than those in a superficial-placement product such as JuveLook, which is what makes AestheFill suitable for the deeper plane where structural support is built.

Handling
AestheFill is reconstituted before use and dissolved by gentle swirling rather than shaking - these are microspheres, and mechanical stress deforms them. Diluent choice, hydration time, injection depth and technique follow REGEN Biotech's instructions for use supplied with the box; protocols are not interchangeable between collagen stimulators, since particle size and reconstitution behaviour differ between products.
Massage after treatment is part of the technique with this class of product, and the instructions specify how and for how long. This is a professional-use device for administration by trained, licensed practitioners. Standard cautions apply: active infection or inflammation at the intended site, known hypersensitivity to any component, keloid tendency, and pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The question clinics ask most is AestheFill versus JuveLook. Both are PDLLA. The difference is depth and intent: AestheFill goes deeper and rebuilds structure, JuveLook is placed superficially and works on skin surface quality. They are complements rather than substitutes, and plenty of practices stock both.
Gouri is the option for a clinic that wants a stimulator without a reconstitution step, and a conventional hyaluronic acid filler remains the right answer whenever the patient needs a visible result the same day.
Storage and shipping
AestheFill does not require refrigeration: keep the sealed vial at room temperature, away from light and moisture, and use it within its printed shelf life. We ship worldwide from Seoul in protective packaging with tracking.

Frequently asked questions
Who makes AestheFill?
REGEN Biotech, Inc., in South Korea.
What is AestheFill made of?
Poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microspheres, supplied as a freeze-dried powder.
Is AestheFill a filler?
It is a collagen stimulator rather than a volumising filler. It adds no volume on the day; the result comes from collagen the body produces over the following months.
How long do results last?
Generally around eighteen months to two years after a completed course, depending on the patient, the number of sessions and placement.
How many sessions are needed?
It is a course product rather than a single treatment. The number of sessions is set by the practitioner according to the patient's skin and the degree of laxity.
How is AestheFill different from JuveLook?
Both are PDLLA. AestheFill has larger particles and is placed deeper for volume and firmness; JuveLook has smaller particles plus hyaluronic acid and is placed superficially for pores, texture and fine lines.
Does it need reconstitution?
Yes. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder and is brought into suspension before use, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Does it need refrigeration?
No. Store the sealed vial at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
