Celosome is the hyaluronic acid injectable line from ExoCoBio, the Seoul biotechnology company better known internationally for its exosome work. The fillers are made from non-animal-origin sodium hyaluronate produced by fermentation, put through an eight-stage purification process with membrane filtration aimed at stripping out residual BDDE, endotoxin and heavy metals.
Four of the five products are cross-linked fillers at 24 mg/ml with 0.3% lidocaine, supplied as 1.1 ml prefilled syringes. ExoCoBio's HENM cross-linking approach is what lets them run the same concentration across all four while changing the viscoelastic behaviour — so the range is separated by how firm the gel is and how deep it goes, not by how much HA is in it. The fifth product, Celosome Aqua, is a different animal entirely and sits with the skin boosters rather than the fillers.
The 24 mg/ml concentration is on the higher side for Korean dermal fillers, which tends to suit practitioners who want fewer syringes per case. All of these are professional-use devices for administration by trained injectors.
The Celosome range
Celosome Soft
The superficial-dermis product. Soft is the gel for fine lines that sit close to the surface — crow's feet, perioral and smoker's lines, the chin crease — and for lip contouring where you want definition rather than bulk. 1.1 ml, 24 mg/ml, 0.3% lidocaine.
Celosome Mid
Formulated for the middle and deep dermis and aimed squarely at nasolabial folds, marionette lines and forehead and frown lines. Mid is the everyday wrinkle-correction syringe in the range, and the one used for liquid-facelift style work where the goal is softening rather than projection. 1.1 ml, 24 mg/ml, 0.3% lidocaine.
Celosome Strong
Same plane as Mid but a firmer gel. Strong is what you move to when a fold is pronounced enough that Mid will simply be absorbed into it, and it carries enough body to define a chin or jawline or refine the nose bridge. 1.1 ml, 24 mg/ml, 0.3% lidocaine.
Celosome Implant
The structural product, placed in the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Implant is for genuine volumisation and contouring — cheekbones, chin, jawline, nose bridge — where the gel has to create a shape and hold it against the weight of overlying tissue. Supplied as 1 x 1.1 ml prefilled syringe with two needles, 24 mg/ml with 0.3% lidocaine.
Celosome Aqua
Not a filler. Aqua is a biorevitalisation gel of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 24 mg/ml with 0.9% mannitol, supplied as 5 x 2.5 ml syringes per box — 12.5 ml in total. It is used across the face, neck, décolletage and hands for hydration, tone and overall skin quality, and it comes in a course-sized box because that is how it is used: repeated sessions, not a single correction.
How to choose
Because concentration and lidocaine content are identical across the four fillers, the only real decision is depth. Move down the table as the tissue you are working in gets deeper and the correction gets larger.
| Product | Type | HA | Lidocaine | Plane | Presentation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aqua | Biorevitalisation | 24 mg/ml, non-cross-linked | None | Intradermal, distributed | 5 x 2.5 ml |
| Soft | Filler | 24 mg/ml | 0.3% | Superficial dermis | 1.1 ml |
| Mid | Filler | 24 mg/ml | 0.3% | Mid to deep dermis | 1.1 ml |
| Strong | Filler | 24 mg/ml | 0.3% | Mid to deep dermis, firmer gel | 1.1 ml |
| Implant | Filler | 24 mg/ml | 0.3% | Deep dermis and subcutaneous | 1.1 ml + 2 needles |
A clinic stocking the range for the first time usually starts with Mid and Implant, adds Soft for lips and periorbital work, and brings in Strong once caseload justifies a second deep-plane option. Injection technique, depth and volume per site should follow ExoCoBio's instructions for use.
Storage and shipping
Store Celosome syringes below 25 °C away from direct sunlight, and do not freeze. Keep each syringe sealed in its blister until immediately before use. We ship from Seoul with the manufacturer's outer carton, lot number and expiry date intact.
Buying Celosome from MY SKIN KOREA
We source Celosome directly in Korea and dispatch from Seoul in original ExoCoBio packaging with full remaining shelf life. No repacking, no relabelling, and lot numbers you can trace. Because we sit in the same market as the manufacturer, stock on the core presentations is generally on the shelf rather than on order.
Clinics and distributors buying by the case should read our wholesale terms for tiered pricing and consolidated freight. If you want a quote on a particular grade, a mixed order across brands, or a view on where Celosome fits alongside a line you already carry, contact us.
Frequently asked questions
Who makes Celosome?
ExoCoBio, a Korean biotechnology company based in Seoul.
What is the difference between Celosome Mid and Strong?
Both are placed in the middle and deep dermis at the same HA concentration. Strong is the firmer gel and is intended for more pronounced folds and for contouring work where the material must hold its shape.
Is Celosome Aqua a filler?
No. It is a non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel for biorevitalisation, supplied in a five-syringe course box. It hydrates and improves skin quality; it does not create volume.
Do all Celosome fillers contain lidocaine?
Soft, Mid, Strong and Implant all contain 0.3% lidocaine. Celosome Aqua does not.
Which one should I use for cheekbones and jawline?
Celosome Implant. It is the only product in the range specified for the deep dermis and subcutaneous plane, which is where structural volume belongs.
How many syringes are in a Celosome Aqua box?
Five 2.5 ml syringes, so 12.5 ml per box.
Can I mix Celosome grades in one session?
Practitioners commonly do, using a deeper grade for structure and a lighter one for surface refinement. Placement and volumes are a clinical decision and should follow the manufacturer's instructions.
